The war of words between former SP MP Jayaprada and SP leader Azam Khan is not going to stop anytime soon. In fact in a latest Azam Khan made objectionable remarks on Jayaprada.
He was quoted as saying: I brought Jayaprada to Rampur. People are witness to me to tell the care I took for her so that no one touched her. But it took 17 years for people to realize her true colors but I understood that she would wear khaki knicker in only 17 days.
He made these comments in an election meeting. But his remarks backfired and Women Commission Chairman Rekha Sharma said that Azam Khan’s remarks are in bad taste. She even said that the SP leader will be served notices. She said they will ask EC to cancel his candidature. In the wake of Jayaprada joining BJP, considering the RSS bonding Azam Khan made these knicker remarks and landed in trouble. EC banned him for 48 hours from campaigning.
