CAG finds fault with AP IT development

CAG in its reported mentioned that the state of AP has been lagging in the development of IT industry and creation of IT jobs in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

CAG in its report about state stated that the monitoring of the projects was poor and even huge delay in implementation of the projects. CAG mentioned that the completed IT units too failed to generate target employment.

Overall, it said that the results are not up to mark. With AP government all the time praising IT Minister Nara Lokesh the CAG report comes in as a big jolt on the face. Lokesh too keeps posting self congratulatory messages on his social media account and this report is a slap in the face. Employment is the main objective of the IT development and if there is no generation of employment what is the point of having the portfolio?
